Wrigleyville Sports is a Chicago based sportswear distributor and retailer that sells licensed sportswear for the Chicago Cubs, Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks and White Sox. They wanted to digitize their inventory management operations by developing a mobile solution integrated with NetSuite. Folio3 built a custom NetSuite app for Wrigleyville Sports that helped them streamline inventory tracking and availability across their warehouse locations.

Wrigleyville Sports is a Chicago based sportswear distributor and retailer that sells Chicago sports teams (Cubs, Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks, White Sox) licensed sportswear, from key chains to leather jackets. They are particularly famous for their selection of certified Chicago Cubs gear, including caps, jerseys & souvenirs which are ordered by fans around the world.

Challenge

Wrigleyville Sports has a sizeable inventory which is maintained in NetSuite. Their inventory management workflow comprised of warehouse managers checking for available inventory in NetSuite using desktops at each location, prior to floor stocking and order fulfillment. This process was time consuming and severely hampered their inventory tracking and sales operations. Wrigleyville Sports wanted to overcome these issues by developing a custom NetSuite mobile solution that would streamline their inventory management.

Solution

Folio3 designed and built a custom NetSuite mobile app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod that allows Wrigleyville Sports’ employees to login to NetSuite and view or look up item inventory information at any warehouse location across the company. The solution supports both online and offline access so employees can view and look up inventory availability at multiple warehouse locations, even when they’re out of network coverage.

Result

Thanks to the NetSuite mobile app built by Folio3, Wrigleyville Sports’ have been able to reduce their floor stocking time by almost 35% and order turnaround time by approximately 40%, since their employees can now access the inventory information they need much more quickly and easily than before.
