Folio3 helps MemSQL enhance operational efficiency by migrating their back office to the Oracle NetSuite ERP

MemSQL is the San Francisco, California based company behind the popular MemSQL high performance, distributed, in-memory database platform. Folio3 migrated MemSQL’s back office and accounting operations from Quickbooks to the Oracle NetSuite ERP, helping them enhance operational efficiency and productivity across the organization.

MemSQL is the San Francisco, California based company behind the MemSQL database system, a high performance, distributed, in-memory database platform that provides real-time analytics, database management and data warehousing functionality to global enterprises. With the combined power of database, data warehouse, and streaming workloads in one system, MemSQL’s database platform helps companies anticipate problems before they occur, turn insights into actions, and stay relevant in a rapidly changing world.

MemSQL’s back office operations were being managed on several disparate systems as well as paper based processes. They wanted to consolidate and streamline their back office by shifting to a centralized ERP system, in order to enhance productivity and reduce the overhead and time cost involved in their current setup, which was impacting their bottom line.

Working on a tight deadline, Folio3 migrated and setup MemSQL’s entire back office on the NetSuite ERP in the short span of eleven weeks. As part of this NetSuite ERP implementation, Folio3 deployed and setup the following functions and modules in NetSuite for MemSQL.

  • Finance
  • Accounting
  • Products & Inventory
  • Order Management
  • Vendor Bills
  • Expenses
  • Advanced Revenue Management (including revenue recognition and amortization)

Thanks to Folio3’s efforts, MemSQL has been able to consolidate its entire back office on NetSuite, which has helped the company boost productivity by almost 19%. Pleased with the outcome, MemSQL has engaged Folio3 as their NetSuite development partner, for providing on-going development and support for their NetSuite requirements.
