“We were extraordinarily pleased with the functionality and depth of understanding that Folio3’s solution exhibited after a relatively brief but incisive, project kickoff meeting. Folio3 “gets it“ from the start, relieving us from tedious development discussions drawn out over a long period of time.”
Anne Thys – VP Logistics, Sundia Corporation
Sundia Corporation is one the fastest growing fruit produce brands in North America. Folio3 helped Sundia enhance their supply chain & customer service operations by developing custom NetSuite functionality that enables their staff to reference and verify every Purchase Order received via their EDI gateway, enabling them to swiftly resolve any disputes that arise (regarding order quantity or pricing).
Sundia Corporation is one the fastest growing fruit produce brands in North America that produces and markets fresh fruit produce with the goal of promoting increased consumption of fruit and vegetables amongst the masses. Its product line includes both fresh fruit produce and ready-to-eat, organic, assorted fresh fruit cups that are distributed in the US, Canada, Philippines India and China.
Sundia Corporation wanted to streamline its supply chain in NetSuite. This supply chain comprised of receiving electronic purchase orders (POs) in NetSuite via B2BGateway’s EDI network. Corresponding orders would then be created against these POs within NetSuite and fulfilled accordingly. At times multiple POs were received from the same customer in a single file. However since all purchase orders were in EDI format, there was no way to view or verify the information received in the POs. Sundia Corporation wanted a solution whereby it could:
- Split multiple POs received in a single file from the same customer, into individual POs
- Store all received POs in human readable format in NetSuite, along with their corresponding orders
Folio3 developed a custom Suitelet in Sundia’s NetSuite account that is available in the UI menu to authorized users. This Suitelet reads the HTML file containing the purchase orders received from B2BGateway, splits them into individual purchase orders (if received in a single file from the same customer); converts them into PDF and then associates them with their respective orders. It also alerts relevant uses about the status of each transaction via email.
Thanks to Folio3’s efforts, Sundia Corporation has been able to greatly streamline its supply chain and customer service operations, as their staff is now able to reference and verify every Purchase Order received within NetSuite; enabling them to swiftly resolve any disputes that arise (regarding order quantity or pricing).
Folio3 has also developed several other NetSuite solutions for Sundia including NetSuite integrations and customizations such as:
- Inventory replenishment planning and triggers based on custom rules in NetSuite
- Customized workflow for bills approval
- Custom rules for billing invoices
- Customized NetSuite graphical reports for various KPIs in NetSuite
